Voice It Club/Society Campaigns
About the Funding Competition
Are you a club or society who would like to run a campaign improve the student experience at Surrey? Whether you'd like to increase participation, raise awareness for a key issue, or fund a grass-roots change campaign, we'd love to hear from you!
This year, as part of Voice It Week, the Voice Zone is piloting a budget to support five student-led campaigns with up to £300 each.
Aims & Selection Criteria
The Voice It Campaign Fund is to enable and empower students to positively impact the student experience at Surrey. Applications for funding should reflect the Voice Zone's emphasis on student representation, change campaigns, and democracy.
Applications will be judged on the anticipated impact and reach of the proposed activities, as chosen by the Voice Zone.
How to Apply
If you'd like to run a Voice It campaign, get in touch with the Voice Zone by emailing ussu.voicezone@surrey.ac.uk with the following info by 1st December 2017:
- outline of activities;
- who will be involved in coordinating the activity/activities;
- key audience(s);
- breakdown of how funds will be spent.
All activities must be lawful and abide by both the Union Byelaws and standing policy.
Each successful Voiceit application will be awarded up to £300 and logistical support from the Voice Zone. Joint applications from multiple clubs and/or societies are welcome and encouraged!
