A Greener Surrey

Earlier this year, we asked students to suggest ideas for the next big Students' Union Campaign.
After over 100 ideas and a vote amongst all students, the winning campaign is 'Sustainability: A Greener Surrey'. Throughout the year, Officers and students will be working together on a range of activities to help increase awareness of sustainability and create change on campus to make Surrey greener.
About the Campaign
The Sustainability: A Greener Surrey campaign is focussing on four main areas:
Education
Reducing power and water consumption
Increasing biodiversity on campus
Reducing single-use plastics
Each of these four themes is being led by a group of keen students and each has opportunities for volunteers to get involved - whether that's helping to organise an event/workshop, working with the University, or raising awareness amongst students.
