Students' Union Policies
The University of Surrey Students Union Executive committee is the policy forming body of the students' union. Made up of the 13 elected student officers, any student may bring a policy proposal forward to the weekly 'Exec' meeting, where said proposal may be voted upon and either passed or rejected.
Policies may also be proposed to, and passed by, the Annual General Meeting, and at bi-monthly Student Forums.
If a policy passes, it becomes binding for three years, and is the official policy of the Students' Union. The actions held within said policy are mandated for the President & the Executive team to enact and see through.
This hub contains information and reports on policies passed by the Students' Union, detailing how progress is coming on achieving/enacting said policies.
On the left is a list of currently-valid Union policies, with links to reports on each. On the right is information about how to submit a motion, and the policy-forming bodies within your Students' Union.
If you have any questions, please contact the Union Chair (firstname.lastname@example.org) or the President (email@example.com).
