This year, Jess your VP Support, wants to get you talking!
If you want to share your ideas or feedback you can contact Jess on email@example.com
In first semester, she will be focusing on these three topics:
This campaign focused on consent, sexual health and sexuality.
This week took place from 9th - 13th October, starting off with a 60 second video on consent - you can watch this here: Let's Talk: Consent
We asked you in a survey what you thought about consent on campus - we will be using this feedback to make sure the message about consent is clear to everyone at Surrey.
On Wednesday we asked a group of Surrey students to take part in our Let's Talk: Sexuality panel, sharing their experiences of coming out, challenging sterotypes and exploring their sexulaity.
Throughout the week Jess gave out 400 Let's Talk: Sex bags containing condoms, dental dams and advice on sexual health.
For more information on any of these topics, take a look at our pages to the left, or contact Jess on firstname.lastname@example.org
Are you bored of the constant comparisons to images in the media, the messages telling us to 'eat clean' and get our 'beach bodies ready'? Then this week is for you!
Jess wants to challenge the messages sent by social media about our bodies, get you talking about (and understanding!) the psychology behind dieting and sharing you own messages of body positivity!
As always, we want to hear from you so please complete our survey for you to tell us all about how you feel about body image and where there could be more done for Surrey students.
This campaign will take place from 27th November - 1st December and we will be talking all about the stigma around mental health, providing you with workshops to keep you feeling well and talking about where to turn if you need support.
