Why have I been asked to attend a panel?
This will only happen after an investigation led by the Office of Student Complaints, Appeals and Regulations (OSCAR) so you should already be aware of what the panel are going to discuss.
If you have been asked to attend a meeting with an individual member of staff to discuss your case, you are at the investigation stage.
What do I need to do first?
Read the Disciplinary Regulations. These can be found on the web-site of the Office of Student Complaints, Appeals and Regulations (OSCAR) - https://www.surrey.ac.uk/currentstudents/study/complaints_appeals/
You can make an appointment with one of our Academic Advice team. Appointments are for a maximum of 30 minutes, Monday - Friday 10-4pm.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with the following information:
Year of study
Details of your case
Any documentation you have received relating to your case
Date of interview or panel if known
