I'm a second year undergraduate studying International Relations and am delighted to be a part time officer in the Students' Union! As part of my time as a support zone officer, I wish to collaborate with various clubs and societies to create themed months with free sessions for disengaged students to combat isolation. During fresher's week, I hope to run a simple campaign to educate students on sexual assault and consent. We also hope to improve awareness for the relaxation sessions run by the wellbeing centre.

My Manifesto
Supporting Committees
Roll out peer mentoring schemes across as many subjects as possible
Create greater support for finding PTY opportunities
Campaign against the University's use of postcodes to determine bursary eligibility
Mental Health
Increase awareness and encourage students to speak out about mental health
Lobby for increased funding at the Centre for Wellbeing
Diversify the approaches to treatment by creating and promoting workshops such as meditation and relaxation
Sexual Assaults
Create greater participation of sexual assault charities on campus
Organise workshops on sexual assault
Create a cross-society and University-wide campaign to create greater awareness of sexual assault, and to promote in-depth discussion on the issue
Additional Learning Support
Support reducing the time taken to respond to enquiries
Increase proactivity in contacting students with specific needs
Tackle hidden costs accessing additional learning support
Make time limits more flexible regarding applications for extenuating circumstances
