Change One thing is a list of suggestions for how you, the students, think the University of Surrey could be improved. After all, harnessing student opinion, ensuring the university (and indeed the Union) take it on board and seeing through tangible outcomes is the essence of what a Students' Union exists for. The suggestions that you put forward will help us not only understand the issues that you the student body feel are important but will determine part of the strategy and focus of the students union.
Students will have the duration of the first semester to suggest ideas using the forms available. At the end of the semester students will be able to vote for what is most important to them out of the suggestions. The winner of this vote will then become a core union objective for the remainder of the year.
We'll soon be setting up the suggestion part of the 'Change One Thing' section of the website, to see what students think could be improved here at Surrey, and once again we'll be doing all we can to ensure these things happen.
If you have any questions whatsoever about these, please do feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. The feedback you give, through every medium the Union has available, is listened to, collated, and acted upon. Never stop feeding back to your union, Surrey, without your opinions we can not do our jobs.
