About the Students' Union
The Students’ Union is a student-led charity to help you make the most of your time at Surrey -
whether that’s supporting you, bringing people together, representing your academic issues, and
making opportunities to get involved. We're led by a team of student Sabbatical Officers (Sabbs)
that you elect each year, including a President and four Vice-Presidents, one for each Zone: Voice,
Activity, Community, and Support.
Our opportunities
We run and support a whole bunch of opportunities that you can get involved in. If you're keen to
gain new skills, take a visit to our brand new Skills Platform or volunteering page:
Or, if you're keen to meet new people and boost your employability, maybe joining some of more than
160 clubs and societies would be best for you - take a look by category above, or check out our quiz
