Picnic at Box Hill

Start your Spring break off with a peaceful picnic with a view! Don't forget to look out for blossom trees all around box hill! Blossom is one of the most exquisite delights of an English spring. Fountains of white or cream blossom seem to appear from nowhere, often accompanied by a delicate fragrance. As you stroll around keep an eye out for the blossom and learn more about the trees.

Moneyshot & Rackabeat first bonded over their love of classic hip hop and beats, then decided to pool

their knowledge and skills into making their own music.

Udderbelly Festival

Enjoy a fun-packed festival of live entertainment and alfresco eating and drinking at Underbelly Festival in South Bank.

Stretching throughout the summer, the festival returns for the 11th year with stages full of affordable circus, theatre, cabaret, comedy and music on the south bank of the Thames.

You can also drop by the free-to-enter festival site to tuck into street food from the riverside vendors and grab a drink at one of London's biggest outdoor bars, including the Rekorderlig Botanicals bar and Pimm's Hut.

Exotic Pets at Merrist Wood 10:00am

Would you like to handle and learn about exotic animals? then this is your chance to join us and VetSoc on a trip to the famous Merrist Wood College!! 
The trip will take around 2 hours and the ticket price includes the transportation to and from Merrist Wood College and the following activities: 

1.- Tour of the Arid Biome where you will get to see species such as Cuban iguanas, tortoises, three banded armadillos and Von der Decken’s hornbills.
2.- Tour of the Tropical Biome where you will get to see species such as coatis, black throated monitor lizards, forest dragons and turtles. 
3.- Animal Handling in the Husbandry Room, housing a wide selection of birds and reptiles including corn snakes, royal pythons, tortoises and fish. 
4.- Lastly, a visit to the Merrist Wood Farm where you will get to see goats, sheep, Cattle, Poultry, Pigs and Donkeys.

AppArt Easter Art Exhibition and Sculpture Trail

AppArt's annual Easter Exhibition at Prior's Field School in Godalming promises a Visual Arts extravaganza with many art mediums and styles being represented.

With over 600 exhibits indoors and outside it is one of the most extensive exhibitions in the South East.

AppArt attracts artists from all over the southern counties and this year internationally celebrated Surrey artist Alexander Creswell will open the exhibition and Sculpture Trail on Saturday 6 April 2019.

The Cancer Research UK Oxford and Cambridge Boat Races

Watch crews from Oxford and Cambridge universities battle it out on the Thames during The Cancer Research UK Men's Boat Race and The Cancer Research UK Women's Boat Race.

One of the biggest free sporting spectacles in London, The Boat Race creates a festive atmosphere on the banks of the river Thames. Up to 250,000 people flock to the riverbanks every year to join the celebrations and watch the Oxford University and Cambridge University eight-oared rowing boats race along the famous 4.2-mile (6.8km) Championship Course between Putney and Mortlake.

The women's race starts at 2.15pm and the men's race at 3.15pm.

Easter Eggstravaganza at Bocketts Farm

Enjoy a great day out this Spring, as the lambing seasons gets into full swing!

With over 350 gorgeous newborn lambs due and 'Meet the Shepherd' sessions daily, there will be plenty of opportunity to learn about the lambs and even watch one being born!

Take a trip in a vintage-style car up Test Hill or along the Members' Banking of the old Race Track, courtesy of the Brooklands Volunteer Car Rides Team.  Tours on Concorde are back and we will be running workshops throughout the holiday, visit our website for more details.

Easter Fun at RHS Garden Wisley

Hop through the garden with excitement at every turn with face painters, story tellers, sow and grow and puppet shows. Join our Spring trail to discover the gardens hidden displays. There'll be plenty of Easter fun in the Garden so come and enjoy a day out at this special time of the year. The Garden is open from 10am (9am at weekends) to 6pm and the events are included in normal Garden admission.

Semi-Toned is the University of Exeter's all male a cappella sensation, having won national and international awards for their stunning performances and music videos, as well as appearances on national television and critically acclaimed shows across the USA, not to mention selling out their last two runs at the Edinburgh Fringe.

My Mother Said I Never Should

Set in Manchester, Oldham and London, My Mother Said I Never Should is a poignant, bittersweet story about love, jealousy and the price of freedom.

The play details the lives of four women through the immense social changes of the twentieth century. Using a kaleidoscopic time structure, Charlotte Keatley's story focuses on four generations of one family as they confront the most significant moments of their lives.

Kate Dimbleby – Sing Happy

From Off Broadway to village Hall, Kate Dimbleby takes her one woman shows all over the world. This new show will have you singing and laughing along created with Cal McCrystal (Paddington, One Man Two Guvnors) and direct from the Edinburgh Festival.

Kate weaves songs from the last 60 years with stories about the human voice and mesmerising layered vocals from her critically acclaimed album Songbirds. 

Kate improvises with the audience using her vocal looper to reinvent this show each time.

Easter Themed Afternoon Tea at Painshill

This Easter the team at Painshill giving their delicious afternoon tea a creative twist by combining it with a fun craft activity.

You will be given everything you need to create your very own Easter basket and to decorate edible eggs.

The challenge will be to get all your eggs in one basket before eating them!

Afternoon tea will include finger sandwiches, mini scones with jam and cream, mini cakes and dessert, tea/coffee and fruit juice.

The My Little Unicorn team  will be having lots of this fun this Easter in their Woodland Wonderland, with pretty unicorns to ride and groom, fun Easter themed games, more goodies than you could imagine and of course our EGGciting Easter Egg Hunt.

Not only will you be searching for eggs but also for the Unicorns and the bunnies carrots too!

Polesden Lacey's Cadbury Easter Egg Trail

What a load of rubbish! The animals of Polesden woods are spring cleaning and throwing out all their rubbish.  But nothing is wasted in the woodland! Once creature's trash is another one's treasure.  Complete the trail to work out what gets recycled and upcycled in the woodland, and win a chocolate prize.

Royal Philharmonic Orchestra 2019

The second visit from our friends the RPO will be conducted by the distinguished British conductor Alexander Shelley and will feature Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 4, one of the most tempestuous of all Tchaikovsky's works with its famous fate motif which starts and ends the symphony.  In the first half we will hear Wagner's grand Tannhauser Overture and Vadym Kholodenko will perform Rachmaninov's much loved Rhapsody on a Theme by Paganini.
