We have planned a dance and a singing performance for the gala. The dance section would include a boys, girls, classical and finale performace. The singing part would include two songs (around 30s each) with a contemporary dance accompanying the songs. The songs will be predominantly Bollywood with a few twists here and there to show that our culture can also be applied to the Western world too.
We'll be needing lighting and sound. We can make a music clip to send.

We plan to hold our Holi event on 27/04/16 after the parade, on PATS field. We are also going to be have a Rubix night on 30/04/16 as an afterparty for the Holi event and possibly for Igala.

For the iGala show, we have lined up 4 different traditional Nepalese dances and music. This will performed by most of the members in our society. We will also be having a short drama to present our Nepalese Culture and describe the Nepal earthquake that happened last year.

We are planning on splitting our time into 2 acts, and possibly a short introductory video about our region and the cultural differences that exist from country to country. the first act will be a Dabke dance, with approximately 9 performers, while the second act will be a gulf based performance of a traditional ceremony called Gergaoon.
we will be needing sound equipment, and providing the aforementioned video as soon as it is ready to integrate it into the show. if we have any requests closer to the time, we will try to be prompt in informing you of any additional requests

Since the price for asian foods is relatively high here, we need more money to get the Malaysian taste right. The performance contains traditional poem recitation which depicts a traditional Malay story followed by 3 types of dances based on the main races in Malaysia (Malay, Chinese and Indian). The overall performance will be traditional and mystical since this is based on a famous legend in Malaysia.

The traditional kandyan dance requires proper costumes and hiring of the relevant accessories(£70). For the other two performances (£30 and £20) we also need to buy outfits for the members. As a result, we will require £120 in order to cover the costs so that our performance will live upto the standards and also showcase the Sri Lankan culture.
