Temporal Discombobulation is a collection of short fiction and critical discussions featuring the theme of time in the Gothic. Work from Saki, H. P. Lovecraft, and Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer is included in the publication, as well as original short stories and poetry by contemporary Gothicists, including new work from Holly Luhning. Leading Gothic scholars Justin Edwards, Tracy Fahey, and Xavier Reyes have provided critical introductions for selected stories, and other contributors present new conversations about poison, time, and gender in Gothic texts, thus giving contemporary insight into the genre. The anthology is illustrated by Ellie Kerr-Smiley, making it a full investigation of text and imagery in time and the Gothic.
