The EE Makerspace
Currently Under Construction–Opening Autumn 2015
The EE Makerspace is currently still under construction, but will be opening by the start of this term. The space is a collaboration between the Electronic Engineering department and EARS. Thanks to a generous grant from the University's Annual Fund, EARS has been able to purchase loads of new toys to fill the space with. Inside are a 3-D printer, 4-channel oscilloscopes, cnc machine, well equiped soldering stations and more.
At the start of term we will be holding a launch event, to find out about when this will be join our Facebook group. EARS members who are also EE students will be able to complete "Enhanced Shackcess" and have full access to the space.
