Garfield II is the club RIB (rigid inflatable boat), named after the lasagne-loving feline we all know and love. Garfield I was put down a few years ago to make room for the new improved version. When not roaming the South Coast, Garfield is often found napping in our locker.

Interested in boats?
Garfield is looked after by our Boat Officer, Dave, but other members are welcome to help out. BSAC run a boat maintenance course if you would like to know more about fixing boats. Get in touch with Dave at firstname.lastname@example.org or find him at one of our meetings.
Interested in coxing?
BSAC also run a number of boat handling, coxing and radio courses which can be taken by divers and non-divers alike. Talk to a member of the club about BSAC courses.
