Author: About Our Non-GamStop Betting Guide
This is an independent guide to non-GamStop betting sites for UK readers. We explain how offshore bookmakers work: who licenses them, which payment methods they accept, what their bonuses are actually worth, how quickly they pay out, and what player-protection tools they offer.
We only cover bookmakers that operate outside the UK Gambling Commission framework. For every brand, we look at the licence and the company behind it, the cashier and withdrawal terms, the depth of the sportsbook, the bonus conditions and the responsible gambling tools. Our aim is to show both the advantages and the limitations of betting sites not on GamStop, so you can see clearly how they differ from UKGC-licensed bookmakers.
How We Review Bookmakers
A big headline bonus doesn’t put a site at the top of our rankings. We rate bookmakers on what actually affects your money:
-
Licence: we check the number and the operator name against public regulator registers, including the Curaçao Gaming Authority and Anjouan, and we flag brands that share a single operator.
-
Withdrawals: we look at real payout times, limits and KYC requirements, not just the promises in an operator’s marketing.
-
Bonuses: we work out each offer’s real value after wagering, minimum odds, maximum stakes and expiry.
-
Sportsbook: we assess how many sports and markets are covered, along with live betting, cash-out and odds quality.
-
Player protection: we check for deposit limits, cooling-off periods and self-exclusion.
We update our reviews whenever operators change their licences, payment methods, bonus terms or rules, and whenever UK gambling regulation changes. Each page shows the date it was last updated.
Responsible Gambling
Gambling is entertainment, not a way to make money. If you feel betting is getting out of control, use the tools available: self-exclusion, blocking software such as Gamban, gambling blocks in your banking app, or free professional help from GamCare (0808 8020 133, 24/7).
