Here at the Students' Union we pride ourselves on the huge range of exciting opportunities we have for you to get involved in. Our advice to you? Get involved now!

Everything you do whilst studying at Surrey develops your skills and career prospects whether it's volunteering with Do>More or Rag, running a sports team or becoming a student trainer for the Chancellors bar staff. These skills will give you the edge, not to mention the confidence, to obtain any job after university.

Volunteering encourages students to participate in real life situations, gaining skills, experience and friends that will help you graduate with much more than a degree. You can have a great time and actively make a difference in the community simply by giving a small amount of your time.

The Students’ Union also runs a wide range of training sessions and workshops to help students gain skills that not only make you more employable but can also help you throughout your time at Surrey. We are committed to helping you learn so much so that we'll even teach you to train your fellow students, thereby helping the next generation.
