Wednesday afternoons just wouldn't be the same without Wednesday Evenings.
Regularly we take over one of the student bars such as roots or channies and make a significant increase on their takings.
We also obviously do pub crawls including the famous pub golf!
At socials both players and supporters are welcome but you'll have to pick the games up as you go along.

Any season wouldn't be complete without a rugby tour, Thats why every year we attend a festival where there is 2000+ other students from 40+ other Universities.
In 2007 the newly named Surrey Spartans visited Calellafest in Spain, 31 members of the mens and womans teams made a huge impact on the costa Brava, the impact we made was so great that it was even bigger than some uni's that had 100+ tour goers.
Ask any member of the club that went and they will explain that a Surrey rugby tour is like no other holiday they will ever go on.
It was a tour where 'the beatings continued until morale improved' so much so that by the end of the tour that there were no morals left!

But in the end, the tour brought together all teams in the club and enhanced the club socially. Tour was a huge success.
