Welcome to the University of Surrey (Mens) Football Club mini site.
Come inside and have a look around. You can navigate through the menu on the left and see how we operate as a club, read the rules, look at the Annual General Meeting notices, reports, minutes, see who is on the committee and so on.
As the site develops we hope to include photos from matches, from our social functions, the Tour - in fact anything related to the University football club that is printable!
The University football club's season begins in September for the local Saturday leagues and October for the inter-university BUCS football championship. The Saturday season then runs through until May the following year and BUCS ends around March time, to be followed by a short season of friendlies against other more local universities.
Home matches are played at the university's VARSITY CENTRE, which is in Egerton Road, Guildford, broadly opposite Tesco's, next door to the Holiday Inn and just down the road from the Royal Surrey County Hospital.

The football club is proud to have gained FA Charter Standard Adult Club Status during the 2007/08 season
Dan Meijles Mens Football Club Captain (2006/07) collected the award from Sir Trevor Brooking at the Soho HQ of the Football Association. Dan accompanied Gems Leaming (VP Sports & Recreation, 2007/08), Amy Fawcett, the union's Student Activities Manager and Jacqui Fraser, manager of the Varsity Centre. The two gentlemen either side of the Surrey party and Sir Trevor are from BUSA, which organised the event.
