Hockey
Ever wondered what is the loudest and biggest sport club is? Well thats the Hockey Club for sure! We like to play hard and party hard. We have members of all abilities and ages.
We have currently have two mens, one ladies and one mixed team. Both the mens and ladies have Saturday Surrey league and BUSA (Wednesday). All the home games are played on the Astro pitch at the University Varsity Centre.
There are two training sessions a week, the main session is on Tuesday 6pm till 8pm and there is a secondary session on Sunday 11am till 1pm. Both of these training sessions are on the Astro pitch at the Varsity Centre.
If that is not enough hockey for you then we go on our main Hockey Tour at easter. The previous hockey tours have taken us to Rimini and Salou. We also go to two smaller tours at summer, Ladyboys and Barnstable.
On the social side we have have may consumption evenings throughout the year. There is also Christams Dinner and an End of Season Dinner. These events also attract some of the ex members who always have a few stories to tell!
