► Where we fly

The gliding club is based at Lasham Gliding Society near Alton. There are 2 main ways of getting to Lasham.

The easiest way to get to Lasham is to drive. Lasham is based around 30 miles WSW of Guildford, and takes around 45 minutes. The easiest way to get there is travel south down the A31 to Alton, then take the A339 to Lasham.

An alternative to driving is to go by train, and taxi/bus/cycle. To go by train catch a train from Guildford to Alton, changing at Aldershot. Then either take a taxi to Lasham, or catch a bus heading towards Basingstoke, or look at the map below and cycle there (it only take 40 minutes).
