Welcome to the UniS Equestrian Site

Welcome to the new website for the University of Surrey Equestrian Club. We are an active club and we meet once a week on a Wednesday to ride. We meet on the Monday before hand at 1 o'clock to book the rides for that week. We also have trips to Olympia each year, and are open to suggestions if you know of anywhere else you think we should be going and aren't, as well as a social at Christmas and the Colours Ball. (The Colours Ball is a ball at the end of the year open to all sports teams. It's guaranteed to be a great night and you should go along if you get the chance.)

To join, all you need to do is fill in a membership form and pay 20 pounds membership fees. Then every time you want to ride you simply come on the Monday beforehand and pay 14 pounds for your hour's lesson and then turn up again at 1 o'clock on the Wednesday to ride. We do also ask for a deposit of 10 pounds so that if you book a lesson and then cancel in the last 24 hours we can still cover the cost (the university subsidises lessons if you turn up but does not cover the extra cost if you don't show and we still have to pay the yard!) You are free to ride as little or as often as you want, just make sure you book and pay before you go.
