The Photographic Society is for all who are interested in photography - whether you are already a keen photographer, have never touched a camera or just want to learn how to take better pictures. There is a wide range of lectures, trips and workshops in store for this year. Informal meetings at Wates are a breeding ground for creative ideas and a great opportunity to share and learn new tips and tricks.

MEETINGS

Thursdays at 6PM alternately in Griffiths Lecture Theatre and Wates House. We welcome anyone (including non-members) at the meetings. 

JOINING in three easy steps

  1. Go to the Yahoo group (see links below) with your name and a short bio and request permission to join -- all communication will be done through this Yahoo group.
  2. Optionally, if you have or are willing to get a flickr account: go to the address of the flickr group (see below) and request permission to join.
  3. Then, send your name, email address used at no. 1,  and optionally flickr ID and Surrey URN to ussu.photographic@surrey.ac.uk (otherwise we won't know who you are and will not approve your request).
After joining one or both of the groups, please send a message or use the respective thread to say 'Hi' and let the others know who you are, particularly if your email/nick has nothing to do with your real name.
